The young family that owned this home had a dark and cramped kitchen. We expanded the footprint and redesigned the space by opening it up to an eat-in area as well as the living room. We added more windows for additional light and to provide the homeowners with a sightline to watch their kids play in the backyard. The result was a kitchen that became the center of the home for this family that loves to entertain.
